SBH7: Hero Hideaway

My family and I recently stayed at Sunflower Beach Resorts The Hideaway in Port Aransas, TX, for 3 nights over Memorial weekend May 2025, and overall, we had a wonderful experience at this beachside retreat. The location at 190 Beach Access Road 1 is fantastic—right near the beach, which made it easy for us to enjoy the sandy shores of Port Aransas. The Hideaway lived up to its name, offering a cozy/quiet/secluded vibe that was perfect for unwinding after a busy few months. The property itself was clean/well-maintained and the partnership with Life in Paradise seemed to ensure a smooth booking process. Check-in was seamless, and the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. It was nice being able to walk right in to our unit upon arrival. They provided all information ahead of time to make check in easy. Our accommodations were perfect for our family of 5. We stayed in Hero Hideaway , which had all the comforts of home. I especially appreciated the quiet patio area for enjoying a cold glass of wine while watching the sunset. The resort’s proximity to the beach was a highlight—we loved being able to walk right down the boardwalk to amazing sunrise walks on the beach every morning. We spent our days swimming, relaxing by the water, fishing, golfing at the course right next door and exploring Port A via the golf cart rental. The resort also had a very nice fitness center which added to our enjoyment. Overall, Sunflower Beach Resorts The Hideaway was a great spot for our family trip. It’s a good choice for those looking for a beachside escape in Port Aransas, with all the comforts of home and a resort feel. I’d rate our stay a 5 out of 5 and would definitely consider returning for another visit.
